Our Founder

Dawn Heuer is a nationally recognized interior designer and design producer. She has designed for national television shows and advertising campaigns for major networks such as Netflix, Bravo, HGTV, TLC, TBS, and Fox. Her work has been featured in magazines such as Elle Decor and Traditional Home. An Arizona native, Dawn has made her home in Atlanta, GA with her daughter, Catherine, and Remy her golden retriever. She established the Heuer Design Collective in 2018 with a passion for making interior design less intimidating and approachable while helping her clients create the space of their dreams.

Since 2018, The Heuer Design Collective has been creating beautiful spaces in Atlanta & beyond. Dawn has long dreamed of bringing a showroom-store concept to expand the brand’s home base for the team, clients, and customers that radiates warmth, joy, and approachability—like sunshine.

Our Story

The Design House by Heuer Design Collective is a labor of love and a longtime dream for Owner, Dawn Heuer. This is HDC’s first brick + mortar, doubling as a retail front & showroom for the design collective. Located at 655 Highland Ave NE, the shop will operate in the space once home to the locally beloved Highland Bakery. To complement the warm and inviting space, the HDC team has tailored together a catalog of goods from their favorite brands, projects, places, clients, and artisans to offer a blended catalog of home goods that inspire and captivate customers. With help from senior design director Taylor Maher, Heuer is sourcing items from around the country and world that you won’t find around every corner.
