The Design House is the first brick-and-mortar retail shop and showroom for the Heuer Design Collective (HDC), a longtime dream of owner Dawn Heuer. Located at 655 Highland Ave NE, the space is designed to be a home base that radiates warmth and approachability.
The team has consciously curated a catalog of unique, elevated home decor and goods. Our selection is a blended collection from HDC's favorite brands, client projects, and global artisans, focusing on items that inspire and captivate.
Whether you're an interior designer, a home decor enthusiast, or just beginning your journey, The Design House is an inviting space to shop and source pieces you simply won't find anywhere else.
Our Founder
Dawn Heuer is a nationally recognized interior designer and design producer. She has designed for national television shows and advertising campaigns for major networks such as Netflix, Bravo, HGTV, TLC, TBS, and Fox. Her work has been featured in magazines such as Elle Decor and Traditional Home. An Arizona native, Dawn has made her home in Atlanta, GA with her daughter, Catherine, and Remy her golden retriever. She established the Heuer Design Collective in 2018 with a passion for making interior design less intimidating and approachable while helping her clients create the space of their dreams.
Since 2018, The Heuer Design Collective has been creating beautiful spaces in Atlanta & beyond. Dawn has long dreamed of bringing a showroom-store concept to expand the brand’s home base for the team, clients, and customers that radiates warmth, joy, and approachability—like sunshine.
